This is a collection of my latest illustrations. The first three photos are from a personal project I completed in early 2022. It is a three-piece series focused on hands and bright colors. I wanted to use this project as a way to practice different poses, but also to find out how well certain bright colors work together to create depth.
The second set of photos is from a design competition at my college. The competition is for the annual DMACC International Year; an event held at the Des Moines Area Community College that picks one country every school year and showcases a shirt and a poster designed by DMACC students. The event was made to bring attention to the chosen country's culture and to teach the public more about that country. This year's country is Thailand. I used the colors gold/yellow and orange often because they are very important to Thailand's culture. I also focused my poster on Thailand's waterway markets because of their cultural significance.
